Som led i Aalborg Portland Nordic & Baltic Graduate Programme leder vi efter en nyligt uddannet ingeniør til at deltage i udviklingen af betonprodukter i Unicon Danmark. tiltrædelse den 1/9 2017.

Læring gennem job rotationer

Vores toårige graduate program består af tre rotationer til forskellige afdelinger i virksomheden, med det formål at udfordre og udvikle dig professionelt samt personligt gennem on-the-job training og direkte ansvar. Du vil blive certificeret inden for Lean Six Sigma samt specialiserede kurser inden for cement og samtidig indgå i projekter og teams bestående af teknikere, ledere og stabsfunktioner. For at sikre den målrettede læring og udvikling vil du samtidig få mulighed for karrierevejledning samt en personlig udviklingsplan. Der ud over vil du få etableret gode relationer og netværk inden for virksomheden.

Stillingen

Som graduate i Teknologi og kvalitet vil du være involveret i flere forskellige ansvarsområder, fra produktudvikling til kvalitetssikring samt kunderådgivning i forbindelse med produktapplikation. Gennem dit arbejde vil du møde flere kollegaer og samarbejdspartnere, fra chauffører og pumpeoperatører til forskere og Key Account Managers. Vores kundeportefølje spænder fra større virksomheder til små privatkunder.

Derfor vil opgaverne være fordelt mellem ledelse og deltagelse i projekter samt kundesupport.

De primære ansvarsområder inkluderer:

  • Ledelse og deltagelse i projekter omhandlende produktudvikling, implementering af best practice samt eksternt orienterede projekter
  • Lede og deltage interne kvalitetskontroller, vedligeholde produktnormer og deltage i eksterne kvalitetskontroller
  • Rådgivning af kunder inden for produkttyper og applikation, herunder kundemøder, besøg på byggepladser samt kundereklamationer
  • Udføre ovennævnte aktiviteter på tværs af flere produktionslokationer, leverings-destinationer, godt støttet af erfaring kollegaer

Din primære arbejdsplads vil i udgangspunktet være København, men den rette kandidat vil have mulighed for at arbejde fra Vejle eller Aarhus. Som led i graduateprogrammet og i arbejdet kan du forvente rejseaktivitet i Danmark.

Kandidaten

Vi forestiller os, at du har en kandidatgrad inden for ingeniørfaget. Ideelt set vil du være lige ved at færdigøre dine studier, men kandidater med op til 1½ års erfaring kan også komme i betragtning. Det er ligeledes vigtigt, at du har kendskab til materialeteknologi.

Vi forventer, at du er bekendt med projektledelse, og er i stand til at administrere din egen tid i overenstemmelse med prioriteringen af dine ansvarsområder.

Derudover forventer vi, at du:

  • Har mod på at reflektere over dine karriereambitioner og træffe beslutninger omkring din egen personlige og faglige udvikling
  • Er i stand til at kommunikere i alle sammenhænge af vores organisation, fra betonchauffører til pumpeoperatører til højtuddannede akademikere og topledelsen
  • Kan lede og rådgive nøglekunder og andre interessenter
  • Har en proaktiv tilgang til projekter og opgaver, og kan planlægge udførslen med blik for fremdrift og overkomme udfordringer
  • Taler dansk og engelsk – begge sprog anvendes i virksomheden

Endeligt er erfaring eller viden om stålarmering og byggepladser en fordel, men ikke obligatorisk.

As part of the Aalborg Portland Nordic & Baltic Graduate Program, we are looking for a newly graduated engineer to participate in the technological development of concrete products in Unicon Denmark.

Two years of accelerated learning with job rotations

Our two-year graduate programme consists of three rotations within the company, designed to challenge and boost your professional and personal skills through on-the-job training and hands-on responsibility. You will receive a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification and a crash course in cement, and you will become involved in project work and join a core team from both the technical and business management functions. To ensure that your learning progresses, you will also get career guidance and a personal development plan. Additionally, you will be associated with leaders across our organisation depending on your track.

The position

As a graduate in Technology & Quality, you will be faced with many different tasks and responsibilities, ranging from product development over product quality assurance to customer advisory in product application. As part of the job, you will meet and deal with people from all over the organisation, from drivers and pump-operators to scientist and key account managers. Our customers range from primarily large scale business-to-business to small-scale private customers.

Hence, the position will be split between managing your projects and tasks internally and supporting customers externally.

Primary areas of responsibility and tasks include:

  • Managing and participating in projects concerning product development, implementation of best practices in concrete technology as well as participating in external projects
  • Participating and leading internal quality audits, maintaining product norms and participating in external audits
  • Advising customers in product types and application, including customer meetings, visiting construction sites as well as customer complaints
  • Managing above activities across different production and delivery locations in Denmark, while supported by or supporting senior colleagues and staff members

You will work primarily out of Copenhagen, though the right candidate will have the possibility of working from Vejle or Aarhus. As part of the Graduate Program, some travel is expected in Denmark.

As a Graduate in Technology & Quality, you will refer directly to the Technology Manager of Unicon Denmark, Ib Bælum Jensen.

The candidate

We expect that you hold a M.Sc. in Engineering or similar relevant education. The ideal candidate will have just finished or are about to finish his or her studies, while candidates with up 1½ years of experience will be accepted as well.

As mentioned, knowledge of materials technology is a must for this position.

We expect you to be familiar with project management, and to be able to self-manage your time according to agreed priorities of responsibility.

Furthermore, we expect the right candidate to:

  • Have the ability or will to learn to reflect on ones career ambitions and make decisions for own professional and personal development
  • Be able to communicate and connect with all layers of our organisation, from truck drivers and pump operators to highly educated academics and top management
  • Have the ability to manage key customers and stakeholders in different settings
  • Have a pro-active approach to projects and tasks, and to plan ahead of progress and challenges
  • Master Danish and/or English – both languages are company languages

Additionally, experience or knowledge about steel reinforcement and construction sites is a plus, but not mandatory. Corporate languages are Danish and English.
