Som led i vores Nordic & Baltic Graduate Programme leder vi efter en nyuddannet ingeniør til at deltage i og drive produktudvikling og kvalitetssikring på tværs af regionen.

 

Læring gennem job rotationer

 

Vores toårige graduate program består af tre rotationer til forskellige afdelinger i virksomheden, med det formål at udfordre og udvikle dig professionelt samt personligt gennem on-the-job training og direkte ansvar. Du vil blive certificeret inden for Lean Six Sigma samt specialiserede kurser inden for cement og samtidig indgå i projekter og teams bestående af teknikere, ledere og stabsfunktioner. For at sikre den målrettede læring og udvikling vil du samtidig få mulighed for karrierevejledning samt en personlig udviklingsplan. Der ud over vil du få etableret gode relationer og netværk inden for virksomheden.

 

Stillingen

 

Som graduate i Research and Quality vil du varetage flere ansvarsområder inden for produktudvikling og anvendelse af cement og beton afhængig af din uddannelsesmæssige baggrund og personlige motivation. Disse ansvarsområder inkluderer kvalitetssikring, support af salgsrådgivere og kunder projektledelse og test i forbindelse med produktudvikling.

 

De primære opgaver i stillingen er:

 

  • Udvikling og problemløsning inden for anvendelsen af cement og beton
  • Analyse af produktionsmetoders indflydelse på produktkvaliteten ved anvendelse hos kunder
  • Årsagsanalyse i forbindelse med reklamationer og kundehenvendelser
  • Kundesupport og rådgivning
  • Arbejde med anvendelsen af kemiske tilsætningsstoffer
  • Dataanalyse på produktrecepter
  • Kvalitetssikring af råmaterialer, alternative brændsler, midlertidige produkter og færdig cement – inklusive udvikling og implementering af best practice
  • Dokumentation og kommunikation af resultaterne af kvalitetssikring, produkt udvikling og testprocedurer, både skriftligt og mundtligt
  • Udførsel af ovennævnte opgaver på tværs af lokationer og sammenhænge i Nordeuropa.

 

Stillingen har base i Aalborg, og som led i stillingen vil der være 10-20 rejsedage om året. Du vil referere direkte til Manager, Research and Quality Centre Ingrid Ahrenkilde.

 

Kandidaten

 

Den rigtige kandidat er enten færdiguddannet eller i gang med at færdiggøre sin uddannelse som bygningsingeniør eller lignende relevant uddannelse. Det er en fordel, at du har viden om materialeteknologi og har haft undervisning om cement og beton i forbindelse med din uddannelse. Du har højest et års erfaring efter endt uddannelse i relevant stilling.

  • Pragmatisk anlagt med interesse for projektledelse
  • Grundlæggende nysgerrig og interesseret i vores produkter og forretning
  • I stand til at arbejde selvstændigt og struktureret med dine opgaver og ansvar
  • I stand til at arbejde med stærk kompleksitet i mange forskellige sammenhænge og situationer
  • Dansk- og/eller engelsktalende – begge sprog anvendes i virksomheden.

As part of the Aalborg Portland Nordic & Baltic graduate program, we are looking for a newly graduated engineering to participate and drive product development and quality assurance across the region.

 

Two years of accelerated learning with job rotations

 

Our two-year graduate programme consists of three rotations within the company, designed to challenge and boost your professional and personal skills through on-the-job training and hands-on responsibility. You will receive a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification and a crash course in cement, and you will become involved in project work and join a core team from both the technical and business management functions. To ensure that your learning progresses, you will also get career guidance and a personal development plan. Additionally, you will be associated with leaders across our organisation depending on your track.

 

 

The position

 

As a graduate in Research and Quality, you will handle many different responsibilities within cement or concrete product development and application, depending on your educational background and motivation. Responsibilities include quality assurance, sales and customer support, project management and testing for product development.

 

Primary areas of responsibility and tasks:

 

  • Development and problem solving within cement concrete applications.
  • Investigations about the interaction between the cement production process and the product quality at the customer
  • Root cause analysis in relation to customers complaints
  • Customer assistance
  • Working with the application of chemical admixtures
  • Data-analysis on product recipes
  • Quality control testing of raw materials, alternative fuels, intermediate products and finished cement – including implementation of best practice
  • Communication and documentation of the results of quality assurance, product testing and development, written and oral.
  • Performing above-mentioned tasks in a variety of settings, locally in Denmark and in the Nordic & Baltic region

 

You will be based in Aalborg, reporting directly to the Manager of the Research and Quality Centre Ingrid Ahrenkilde. Approx. 10-20 days of travel per year is expected.

 

The right candidate

 

The right candidate will have finished – or is close to finishing – an education in construction engineering or similar. It is an advantage, if you have knowledge or experience with materials technology, and/or have had classes on concrete and cement during your education

 

Furthermore, we expect the right candidate to:

 

  • Be pragmatic by nature, and interested in project management
  • Be curious and interested in the products and business
  • Work independently on assignments and responsibilities
  • Have the ability of working in high complexity in many different settings
  • Master Danish and/or English – both languages are company languages

An attractive position in the N&B Graduate Program, including training and certification within cement and concrete production, Lean Six Sigma Project Management, Personal Development as well as study trips to other production facilities in the Cementir Group with the other five graduates.

The Graduate Program offers rotations to two other business units in the Nordic & Baltic Region, which you will have great influence on.
