Læring gennem job rotationer

Vores toårige graduate program består af tre rotationer til forskellige afdelinger i virksomheden, med det formål at udfordre og udvikle dig professionelt samt personligt gennem on-the-job training og direkte ansvar. Du vil blive certificeret inden for Lean Six Sigma samt specialiserede kurser inden for cement og samtidig indgå i projekter og teams bestående af teknikere, ledere og stabsfunktioner. For at sikre den målrettede læring og udvikling vil du samtidig få mulighed for karrierevejledning samt en personlig udviklingsplan. Der ud over vil du få etableret gode relationer og netværk inden for virksomheden.

Stillingen

Som Finans Graduate vil du blive særdeles involveret i alle aspekter af vores forretning, fra produktion til stabsfunktioner, i forbindelse med flere forskellige arbejdsopgaver og projekter. Gennem denne graduatestilling vil dine professionelle såvel som faglige evner blive udviklet over tre jobrotationer, hvor du vil få stærkt indblik i forretningsmæssige beslutninger af finansiel betydning.

Dine primære ansvarsområder vil være:

  • Lede og deltage i projekter og opgaver prioriteret af Group eller Nordic Finance, med fokus på systemer, processer og ledelsesrapportering
  • Lede og deltage i faste månedlige opgaver som kontroller og rapportering
  • Lede og deltage i udviklingsprojekter på finansielle KPIer og den månedlige rapportering deraf
  • Repræsentere det finansielle perspektiv i forbindelse med forretningsmuligheder og beslutninger

Denne stilling vil bidrage til din forståelse af finansfunktionen fra et forretningsperspektiv og til at se finans i ”det store billede”. Du vil lære at arbejde sammen med forskellige faggrupper og kollegaer, og bidrage til en balanceret ledelsestilgang til forretningen.

Den primære arbejdsplads vil være Aalborg. Afhængig af dine personlige præferencer kan en af rotationerne være ved anden lokation i Danmark eller i Norge. Som led i dit daglige arbejde og graduateprogrammet vil der være rejseaktivitet.

Du vil referere til Finance Partnering Manager Thomas Aarup Christensen.

Vigtigst af alt vil du blive en del af et stærk, dynamisk team med kollegaer med forskellige personligheder og faglige baggrunde. Vi har særligt fokus på samarbejde og på at være en god kollega, og vi glæder os til at få en nyuddannet, fagligt stærk kollega i teamet.

Kandidaten

Vi leder efter en kollega med en akademisk uddannelse inden for Finance Economics fra en business school eller universitet. Vi forventer, at du har afleveret dit speciale pr. 1/9 2017.

Vi ser gerne, at du har interesse for at arbejde med projekter, eller projektorienterede opgaver. Vi forventer, at du er oprigtigt interesseret i samarbejde og at arbejde mod de fælles mål, teamet har.

Dertil vil det være en fordel, at du både evner og har lyst til at arbejde med processer, og udvikle din forståelse for procesarbejde.

Derudover forventer vi, at du:

  • Er fokuseret på karriereudvikling og fremskridt
  • Er stærkt drevet af nysgerrighed og lyst til at forstå forretningsbeslutninger
  • Har gode Excelkompetencer, eller mod på at udvikle dem
  • Kan håndtere både support, udviklingsopgaver og projekter
  • Har en klar personlighed
  • Er oprigtigt interesseret i at være en del af et team på langt sigt

Endeligt er erfaring med SAP en fordel, eksempelvis gennem studiejob eller anden erfaring.

We are looking for candidates with a financial background to take part in our Nordic & Baltic Graduate Program from 1st September 2017.

Two years of accelerated learning with job rotations

Our two-year graduate programme consists of three rotations within the company, designed to challenge and boost your professional and personal skills through on-the-job training and hands-on responsibility. You will receive a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification and a crash course in cement, and you will become involved in project work and join a core team from both the technical and business management functions. To ensure that your learning progresses, you will also get career guidance and a personal development plan. Additionally, you will be associated with leaders across our organisation depending on your track.

The position

As a finance graduate, you will be heavily involved with all aspects of our business with financial impact, from production to staff functions, in a variety of tasks and projects. With this graduate programme, you will develop your personal and professional skills through 3 job rotations of 8 months, where you will get a strong insight into the different perspectives of business decisions and financial impact. Throughout the programme, you will be working closely with your Host Manager to plan your rotations and  professional and personal development.

Your primary areas of responsibility and tasks will be:

  • Leading and participating in projects and tasks prioritised within Group or Nordic Finance, focusing on financial systems, processes, or management reporting
  • Leading and participating in the monthly financial activities, such as controlling, and reporting
  • Leading and participating in projects regarding developments of financial KPIs and monthly reporting
  • Leading and participating with financial perspective on business opportunities and options

This program will contribute to you understanding  finance from a business perspective and seeing the “big picture”. You will learn to work with different professionals and contribute to a balanced managerial perspective on different options.

Your home department is in Aalborg. Depending on your preferences one of the rotations can be at another place in Denmark or Norway. Some travelling will be involved, as part of your daily job and the graduate program.

Your direct manager will be Finance Partnering Manager Thomas Aarup Christensen.

You will be part of a strong team dynamic and adaptive colleagues, all with different personalities and preferences. We put a great emphasis on teamwork and being a good colleague, and we are looking forward to having a new young professional colleague in our team.

The right candidate

We are looking for candidates with an academic background in Finance Economics from business school or university.

The right candidate will have an interest in working with projects or project-oriented tasks. You have a profound interest in working in teams and groups towards a common goal.

Also, having the proficiency and motivation to work with processes and developing process understanding is key for this position.

Furthermore, we expect the right candidate to:

  • Be interested in career development and progression
  • Have a strong drive and curiosity to understand the business choices
  • Either be skilled in Excel, or have the willingness to become skilled in working with Excel
  • Be interested in both development and support projects and tasks
  • Have a clear personality
  • Be profoundly interested in being part of a team long-term

Additionally, experience with SAP, i.e. from a student job is a bonus, as well as other relevant experience.

The Graduate Program offers rotations to two other business units in the Nordic & Baltic Region, which you will have great influence on.
